This song was transformational for me and many others that lost a child (mine passed at 2 months old), gf and i drifted apart, she died a few years later from MS. That was 14 years ago, this song brought it all rushing back, made me realized we never really fully heal, it's a masterpiece and weirdly soothing in a bittersweet way. I certainly didn't expect this song to affect me so deeply. Love it. Not since Alter Bridge's Blackbird has a song hit me with all the feels.

This song is from the 80s. The band are German. The singer though has a range similar to Bruce Dickinson.

My biggest complaint about The Awakening is that it isn't amazingly mixed. A LOT of the detail can easily be lost over speakers that aren't great, such as those in most vehicles, or cheap headphones.

Man! Seeing your immersion in music, right from the start, there was a flash of images of a band on a film set and you were there! Damn! What a vision😳! Have you ever had this experience? What if you could follow a recording set with a band🫣🙃🤭? They usually get together somewhere to compose music! Man! Think about it🤔? Which band could invite you to have this experience🤔? With this new look of interviews with the bands, it would be productive for you and the band😎! Wow! Do you have access to record companies? So😉?! I have some amazing visions that end up happening😱😳☺️👌! Aiaiai! Returning! Oops! Wow! What a nice rhythm to hear. And there is Tauri continuing her immersion in music! I have a different way of observing Tauri's reactions, through her mannerisms, her facial lines, emotions and body expression and sometimes I refer to her as a “child”! And look how beautiful she looks with this makeup! It's loose, relaxed in the immersion of the music! This is beautiful to see, from the other side of the screen! I remember seeing her reaction in separate bands! Together I think it's the first time! One of the vocals sings with a whisper in her voice, this makes the melody more harmonious! Very handsome! They have a mind-blowing rhythm from the beginning, highlighting the percussion! Aiaiai! I love the way the child can dance, moving their shoulders, making fluctuations with their hands, smiling and loving the rhythm and visual context of the performance!Oops! Did I hear an “Uhh”? I adore! That whisper of the girl's voice is exceptional! With headphones they become more evident! Our! Look at the child waiting for what could be a break! And then comes a flash of a male vocal! Show! Oops! Listen to the girl's voice take off to a higher pitch! Show! And the child goes so crazy that he even puts his hands on his head, not believing what he is hearing! Oh Jesus! I got emotional! Damn! Oh no! Don't you cry?!!! This moved her! Guys!!! How can we not get emotional seeing Tauri in this state of emotion! Jesus! Let's have a heart! My God! As I take a close-up of her to better observe her emotions, at a slower speed, when she happens to get emotional like that, I see the tears welling up and down! Jesus! I get emotional together! Man! What I observe in her appearance in these moments is surreal! Very happy to have helped promote the bands through your channel! I completely understand how you feel, and how you explain it in the final context! Seeing bands grow and produce a clip like this explains those tears! It doesn't surprise me Eddie said Desolation is the most challenging song to sing live because I get winded singing it myself. I'm so often in my car, running out of breath singing every word while people at stoplights look at me like I'm crazy. Haha.

This was one of my top 5 Spotify bands in 2023. Like you said, they have such a unique sound. (Their older songs are awesome too. ) And Monique is very creative with her melodic lines and vocal techniques. Glad you are finally checking them out!

Most people mainly focus on the drums in this song but to me the guitars are just as insane...continous 16th notes at 270bpm and unlike the drums all these notes are from the same muscle and without techniques that "cheat" a double attack with each motion, and unlike the other instruments they stay at that speed for really long stretches. To translate: that's ~17 attacks on the string per second. Three uninterrupted runs, that last for 2x 28s (16 bars) and 42s (24 bars) respectively, of precisely 492/502/748 16th notes (per guitar)...as your wrist is *begging* for mercy. I don't want to take away anything from the drums, but the guitars are an athletic feat in their own right...just in an entirely other field and thus unjustly overlooked

Dude I really wanna see them unfortunately due to a few circumstances and probably for living in Indy of all places smack dab in the middle of the Midwest I was unable to see them but hopefully next time if/when they come around i’ll be there but for now I thank you for the interview you did with them. BTW I really would’ve thought something like Come What May or The Black would kinda be hard to play on stage I guess.

One of my favorite finds from the last couple years. I was so happy to see them get signed to Nuclear Blast recently and get the opportunity to open for bigger bands like Babymetal and Halestorm. Really looking forward to this album especially with the variety they have shown us in the 3 singles so far.

Whoa! Wow, what beautiful boys! And even there talking informally they have a beautiful voice! Reviewing some of your reactions to the boys' songs, we can't help but get emotional seeing their reactions! Despite some situations such as someone getting on and off the bus, the microphone that was with you had a little low sound, the positioning of the camera, where it must not have found a place that filmed the three of you from the front, highlighted them and their profile more in the images. ! And you know one thing: I hadn't seen him from that angle yet! Damn! I always see you from the front or the left side for you, right for whoever is watching you behind the camera! You looked beautiful in that outfit and with that makeup! Again, using that strategy of musicians opening, as well as being able to talk to them a little beforehand, certainly helped with preparation and concentration for the interview! I have been a fan of Melissa's voice, but the last half of that song is as good a vocal performance as I have heard.
